Can the HEPA module be used to treat pathogens?
Yes! When performing multiple protocols on the thermal oscillator, it may be necessary to heat the module, but do not vibrate, which supports such operations.
Does the HEPA module use positive or negative pressure?
The HEPA module uses positive pressure to provide a sterile working environment inside the OT-2, as shown in the illustration on page 2 of our HEPA module white paper.
Is the HEPA module a separate unit?
The Opentrons HEPA module is designed to be used with our OT-2 and cannot be used as a standalone unit.
