LightSpeed ​​ultra-efficient automated WGS analysis

Accelerate your whole-genome sequencing (WGS) workflow with flexible, automated library preparation and ultra-fast bioinformatics analysis. We'll describe how to automate WGS library preparation and normalization of 96 samples in 5 hours with just 20 minutes of hands-on time, followed by ultra-fast cloud-based bioinformatics analysis in less than 30 minutes per sample. We will present data from human genomic DNA, bacterial DNA, and mixed microbial DNA demonstrating high yields from balanced libraries across different sample types.

By combining QIAseq® chemistry for library preparation and standardization with automation on Opentrons Flex™, a flexible benchtop liquid handling platform, you can generate highly uniform libraries with yields up to 50 nM. After sequencing, analyze your library using QIAGEN® QCI® secondary analysis, combined with cloud-based LightSpeed ​​technology to accelerate the processing of raw sequencing data, cost-effectively analyzing the entire human genome in as little as 25 minutes 30x coverage. Then, learn how to confidently interpret variants with QCI Interpret, an automated VCF-to-final report solution powered by AI literature search and state-of-the-art manual curation.
