It is recommended to divide the BUFFER into small vials or tubules, and only the required part is taken each time to avoid repeated freeze-thawing of the entire storage bottle.
4. Validity period and quality control1. The validity period of BUFFER depends on its composition and storage conditions. BUFFER containing protease inhibitors, antioxidants or other active ingredients should be used in the short term as much as possible. 2. BUFFER stored for a long time should undergo quality inspection before use, such as detecting pH value, color changes, etc., to confirm whether it still has the original functions.
5. Preservatives and protective agents1. For BUFFERs that require long-term storage, appropriate preservatives and protective agents (such as glycerin, sucrose, etc.) can be added to extend its storage period and prevent the growth of bacteria or fungi. 2. However, it should be noted that not all BUFFERs are suitable for adding preservatives. 6. Light control1. Ultraviolet irradiation may lead to the degradation of certain components in BUFFER. Therefore, direct exposure of BUFFER to strong light should be avoided. 2. It is best to choose a cool and light-proof environment when storing to reduce the impact of ultraviolet rays on BUFFER components.
The storage conditions of protein purification BUFFER are directly related to its use effect. Correct storage methods can extend the validity period of BUFFER and ensure the stability of experimental results.
